On May 14, 2014, Jiangsu Linda Zhisi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Huai'an. The project of 600,000 tons of waste tire recycling national demonstration industrial base with investment of 3 billion yuan was set up in Huai'an.
The project is the largest of the 10 national tire recycling and recycling demonstration bases constructed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Environmental Protection. It will build a state-level urban tire recycling and recycling technology research and development center. The project adopts the most advanced and harmless treatment technology for waste tires in the world, and can produce products such as pyrolysis oil and pyrolysis carbon black.
