Experts believe that LED road lighting and display need to provide multi-level, all-round energy-saving emission reduction programs in order to win market recognition.
Strengthening the development of LED road application standards is imperative to strengthen the standardization of the LED industry, which has become a topic of common concern in the industry. The inconsistency of highway lighting systems is not conducive to ensuring the quality of LED road lighting products. It will bring many problems and problems to the procurement, installation, maintenance and service of products.
In this regard, Jiang Haifeng, an associate researcher at the Highway Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, explained in detail the standards of the "Highway LED Lighting" and the tracking test results of the LED lighting demonstration project of the three ministries, which pointed out a new direction for the development of the industry. The industry standard for "road LED lighting" compiled by the Highway Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport and Shanghai Sansi, and finally the scope, normative references, terminology and definitions, classification and naming, technical requirements of the LED highway lighting industry, Test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage have been clearly defined, which provides a strong basis for the standardization and development of the LED highway lighting industry.
