Research and Analysis Based on Online Inspection System of CNC Machine Tools

There are two kinds of online inspection systems for CNC machine tools. One is to directly call the basic macro program without computer aid. The other is to develop the macro library by itself, and generate the detection program at any time by means of the computer-aided programming system. In the CNC system.

The online inspection system of CNC machine tools consists of software and hardware. The hardware part usually consists of the following parts:

(1) Machine body

The machine body is the basis for processing and inspection. The working part is the part that realizes the basic movement required. The accuracy of the transmission part directly affects the precision of machining and detection.

(2) CNC system

At present, CNC machine tools generally use CNC numerical control system. Its main features are input storage, CNC machining, interpolation calculation and various control functions of machine tools are realized by programs. The computer can be connected to other devices through interface devices. When the control object or function changes, only the software and interface need to be changed. The CNC system generally consists of a central processing memory and an input and output interface, which in turn consists of a memory, an operator, a controller, and a bus.

(3) Servo system

The servo system is an important part of the CNC machine tool, which is used to realize the servo control of the feed position of the CNC machine and the servo control of the spindle speed (or position). The performance of the servo system is the main factor determining the machining accuracy, measurement accuracy, surface quality and production efficiency of the machine.

(4) Measurement system

The measurement system consists of a contact trigger type probe, a signal transmission system and a data acquisition system. It is a key part of the on-line detection system of CNC machine tools and directly affects the accuracy of online detection. The key component is the probe. The probe can be used to measure the dimension during the machining process. The machining program is automatically modified according to the measurement result to improve the machining accuracy. The CNC machine tool is both a processing device and a certain function of the measuring machine.

The currently used Renishaw probes are products of the Renishaw Company of the United Kingdom. They are used in most CNC machine tools such as CNC lathes, machining centers, CNC grinding machines and special machines. According to the function, the probe can be divided into the workpiece detection probe and the tool probe; according to the signal transmission mode, it can be divided into hard wire connection type, inductive type, optical type and radio type; according to the contact form, it can be divided into contact measurement and non-contact measurement. The user can select the appropriate configuration according to the specific model of the machine.

(5) Computer system

The online detection system uses a computer to collect and process measurement data, detect the generation of NC programs, simulate the detection process, and communicate with CNC machine tools. The online inspection system takes into account the current popular Windows and CAD/CAM/CAPP/CAM and VC++ software, as well as reducing the analysis and calculation time of measurement results, generally using computers above the Pentium level.
