·Shaanxi Province will phase out 49,000 yellow-label vehicles this year

A few days ago, the Shaanxi Provincial Environmental Protection Department issued the 2014 yellow label vehicle elimination mission. It is planned that the province will eliminate 48,865 yellow-label vehicles in the year, of which Xi'an will accelerate the elimination of yellow-label vehicles and 16,844 old vehicles.
According to the "Five-Year Action Plan for Pollution Control and Defence of the Blue Sky in Shaanxi Province (2013~2017)", in order to strengthen the prevention and control of motor vehicle exhaust pollution, Shaanxi Province will adhere to the principle of "combination of cars, oil and roads". We will focus on speeding up the elimination of yellow-label vehicles and old vehicles, improving fuel quality, optimizing the city's comprehensive transportation system, strengthening the management of motor vehicle environmental protection signs, and vigorously promoting the use of new energy and clean energy vehicles.
Shaanxi Province stipulates that by the end of 2015, all the yellow-label vehicles registered and operated before 2005 will be phased out in the Guanzhong area, and the yellow-label vehicles in the province will be eliminated before the end of 2017. At the same time, it will vigorously promote the centralized management or renewal of urban buses, taxis, passenger vehicles and transport vehicles (including low-speed vehicles) to prevent black smoke from being emitted.
In addition, starting from 2014, all production enterprises and gas stations in Shaanxi will fully supply vehicle diesel that meets the national fourth-stage standard. By the end of 2017, the vehicle will be fully supplied with vehicle gasoline and diesel in line with the national fifth-stage standard. And vigorously encourage the use of new energy vehicles, accelerate the promotion and application of new energy and clean energy vehicles, and increase subsidies for new energy vehicles. At the same time, seize the opportunity of Xi'an to be included in the national pilot city of new energy vehicles, and promote the popularization of new energy and clean fuel vehicles in urban buses, taxis, special vehicles and other vehicles. In the public transport, sanitation and other industries and government agencies to take the lead in promoting the use of pure electric vehicles and other new energy vehicles.
