Newport Township FPD has been added to the site

The Newport Township Fire Protection District, located in Wadsworth within Lake County and part of MABAS Division 4, is now featured on the site. This fire department serves a large area that stretches all the way to the Wisconsin border. They operate from two fire stations and maintain a diverse fleet of emergency vehicles. Their equipment includes three fire engines, a pumper squad, an elliptical tanker, two ambulances, a brush unit, a tracked ATV, and two vintage 1980s R-Model Mack trucks used as TRT (Technical Rescue Team) support units. A photo of their Kubota ATV was taken by Larry Shapiro, showing the vehicle in action. Another image captures their crane truck, highlighting the versatility of their response capabilities. The first station is conveniently located at 39010 Caroline in Wadsworth, just off Wadsworth Road near the local post office. It’s fully equipped with a wide range of apparatus, making it a central hub for emergency services in the area.
