·Automobile product defect complaints are increasing year by year

Recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine held a regular press conference. The China Economic Net reporter learned that since 2004, the AQSIQ Defective Product Management Center has received consumption through online collection, telephone, e-mail, and letters. The number of complaints about defects in automobile products was 59,400, and it is increasing year by year.
According to reports, from January to June 2014, the center received 4,132 complaints from consumers. According to the automobile complaints involving the assembly classification, the most complaints about the transmission system were 1486 cases; the second was the engine complaints, a total of 1366 cases; the third place was the electrical equipment complaints, a total of 331 cases.
It is learned that since the implementation of the defective car recall system in China in 2004, as of June 22, 2014, a total of 190 companies have carried out 747 recalls involving 1,629,600 defective cars, which are directly recovered for consumers according to incomplete statistics. The economic loss is about 20 billion yuan. According to the car assembly involved, the top three recalls are electronic and electrical defects, engine defects and power transmission system defects. Automobile companies were affected by the investigation of the defects of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and carried out 74 recalls, involving 4,789,300 defective vehicles, accounting for 30.53% of the total number of recalls. Among them, from January to June 2014, a total of 58 companies carried out 79 recalls involving 936,100 defective vehicles, and the number of recalls increased by 23.44% compared with the same period of last year (compared with 64 recalls in the same period in 2013). It fell 32.69% in the same period last year (recalling 1,390,700 defective cars in the same period in 2013).
