Dave Cooper, a beloved fire lieutenant from Pleasant Prairie, WI, left us far too soon. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David 'Coop' Cooper on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at 01:46 AM. He was surrounded by his loving family and caregivers. Just five hours after returning home from his shift on March 8, 2013, Dave suffered a heart attack. Over the next 50 days, he courageously battled Metastatic Angiosarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer that ultimately claimed his life. His retirement plans with his wife, Laurie, had been set for July 1, 2013, but fate intervened far too early."
