It is understood that with the advancement of sulfuric acid and phosphate fertilizer industry technology and stricter environmental protection requirements, the state has issued regulations in August 1997 after it promulgated the "Technical Regulations for Designing Wastewater from Sulfuric Acid and Phosphate Fertilizer Industry," such as the Ministry of Environmental Protection last March.
