It was originally purchased by DGFD and used as a reserve engine for about 7 years before being sold in 2014. It was then replaced by a 2007 Pierce unit. Later, Brindlee Mountain resold the truck to the Pleasant Groves Volunteer Fire Department in Woodville, Alabama. From what we can tell, it saw very little use there, with only around 2,000 miles on the odometer since it was last sold by DGFD.
This 1995 Pierce Tilt Cab Saber Custom Pumper is currently listed on govdeals.com for $2,000, with two bids placed so far. The auction closes on August 30th at 3:00 PM CDT. The reserve has been met, and the minimum bid increment is $25.
