Production Line:
Introduction to ATS Two-Stage Compounding Line
To manufacture PVC cable materials, we typically use the ATS two-stage compounding line. This system consists of an ATE twin-screw extruder, an ASE single-screw extruder, and a downstream pelletizing system. The first stage focuses on polymer compounding, while the second stage extrudes the compound at a lower temperature, ensuring better quality and less degradation. The final step involves pelletizing via a downstream cutting system.
Pelletizing System:
Multiple cutting systems can be integrated into the ATS compounding line. Thanks to its modular design, both instrument control and PLC control options are available for the electrical control system. Key electrical components are sourced from European brands to ensure reliable and stable performance. For producing PVC cable materials, we commonly use the air-cooled die-face hot cutting system. This system combines the high-speed and strong compounding capabilities of the twin-screw extruder with the low-speed, low-temperature, and weak-shear characteristics of the single-screw extruder, making it ideal for heat-sensitive or shear-sensitive materials.
