Recently, Sany's first remanufactured pump truck successfully went offline at the assembly center of No. 12 plant. "This is a breakthrough for Sany in product remanufacturing, which indicates that Sany Remanufacturing has taken a substantial step and has a milestone significance," said Shao Zhiqiang, general manager of Sanyizhou Remanufacturing Corporation.
According to the person in charge, the car was covered with cement, dirt, and rust, and some parts were cracked and deformed. After being remanufactured through procedures such as evaluation, full dismantling, repair, inspection, and final assembly, the product performance was revealed. Quality is no less than new products.
“We have no fixed model to learn from. The only thing we need to do is use belief as an engine and use lessons as an activator. We believe that the solution is always more difficult than that.” said Luo Bin, Minister of Manufacturing at Trinity Manufacturing Corporation.
In the remanufacturing process of the vehicle, great difficulties were encountered in disassembling the outriggers. Because the old pump truck has been used for a long time, some of the pins have been completely rusted. In the absence of a good tooling, only the hammer can be used to knock out the pin or be cut off by the welder. In this way, the hammer fell again and again, and everyone's clothes were sweating over and over again, but no one complained. Instead, he did so with enthusiasm. At the same time, in order to design a reasonable remanufactured tooling, R&D personnel, regardless of the high temperature and heat during the day, the next workshop and front-line workers to discuss and study together; at night, overtime design drawings, conduct a trial, to provide timely technical guidance on the site.
The more the merrier. In the entire remanufacturing process, everyone worked together. Chen Yuexing, who is in charge of production scheduling, proposed that the “Volvo spare tire frame be changed from purchasing to self-made”. The spare tire frame was made by himself. Each can save nearly 10,000 yuan for the company and avoided the long procurement cycle. At the same time, the production of workers pay for beam fixtures, also greatly increased the efficiency of the work to ensure the accuracy of manufacturing.
Remanufacturing is a brand-new industry in China.
