Onecue system lets you use gestures to control smart residential devices

The gesture control system onecue developed by an Israeli company allows you to control your TV, room temperature, lighting and curtains through gestures. However, although it can synchronize with smart technology, it also allows you to control standard technology products such as TVs and set-top boxes. Currently, smart home devices that can be controlled by the onecue system include Apple TV and Bird Nest smart thermostats, but the company promises to support more smart devices in the future. And the system can also control wireless network and infrared function devices such as standard TVs, set-top boxes, game consoles and so on.
The company recommends placing onecue on a flat surface like a television. The device uses gesture tracking and recognition technology and then translates into wireless motion instructions. For example, by holding and extending the palm of your hand in the air, you can choose a TV channel. Putting your finger on your lips means a mute system. The onecue LCD display shows the currently available devices and controls. Gesture gestures can also be pre-programmed. The company said: "The onecue system connects these devices to make them smarter and easier to use." The system will be sold at £125 in early 2015.
