2. Working principle
The slurry is fed by a tangential spiral of self-feeding ore at a certain pressure, and the suspended particles are subjected to three components of tangential, radial and axial forces. From the radial velocity component, if the ore particles are subjected to a centrifugal force greater than the centripetal force, they tend to the surface of the cylindrical sieve, and the ore particles on the wedge-shaped sieve are subjected to tangential and axial forces. Therefore, in the swirling fine screen, in addition to the first swirling flow from top to bottom and the second swirling flow from bottom to top, there is also a side of each small sieve hole in the path of the first swirling flow. The function of the rib "cutting" is precisely because of the discharge of the undersize material, it is possible to adjust the position from the first swirling flow to the second swirling flow to form a circle of zero envelope traces. Therefore, since some fine particles are sieved in the first swirling flow, the quality of the grit (ie, the sieve) is improved, and the position of the zero envelope can be changed because the amount of the sieve is controlled. The quality of overflow products has also improved.
3. Test results
Through the test:
(1) The swirling fine screen can obtain three kinds of products, which can be processed separately according to different requirements. Usually, the grit (or sieve) is directly fed into the grinding machine (concentration and particle size are suitable); the sieve is given to the sorting equipment (re-election, flotation, magnetic separation equipment ); overflow, for the re-election plant, It is sent to the mud mine workshop for treatment. The flotation plant needs to be dehydrated, concentrated, or combined with the sieve to be sent to the flotation. The magnetic separation plant can also be treated similarly.
(2) a test of iron ore showed undersize enrichment products, such as iron ore grade of 64.40%, up 66.75 percent grade sieve, overflow grade 55.35%, 60.35 grade on the screen. If the grade of the ore is increased to 65-66%, the grade under the sieve may reach 68-70% (or magnetic separation) to obtain some high-quality iron concentrate.
(3) Because there is still residual pressure in the under-sieving pipe, another device (such as a cyclone, etc.) can be connected in series without power, and the mud removal effect can be achieved again.
