To prevent this, ensure proper installation, regular maintenance, and a clean, cool working environment. **Pump Heat** If the pump becomes hot, it could be due to damaged bearings, excessive friction, misalignment, tight belts, lack of lubrication, or blocked impeller balance holes. Solutions include replacing bearings, adjusting clearance, aligning the shafts, tightening the belt appropriately, adding clean grease, and clearing the balance hole. **Low Water Flow** Low flow can result from slippage in the drive belt, improper blade angle, long or curved pipes, high suction lift, partial blockages, or leaks. To fix this, restore the correct speed, adjust the belt tension, modify the blade angle, lower the pump position, shorten the piping, clear blockages, and repair leaks. **Inadequate Water Intake** This often happens when air enters the pump, the check valve isn’t sealed properly, or there are leaks in the packing or valves. To address this, prime the pump, check for leaks in the system, and tighten or replace faulty parts. If necessary, apply sealant or reassemble the piping to ensure airtight connections. **Severe Vibration** Vibration can be caused by rotor imbalance, faulty couplings, worn bearings, loose components, or unstable pipe supports. Remedies include balancing the rotor, repairing or replacing damaged parts, reinforcing the structure, and ensuring all components are securely fastened.
