According to the results of the inspection, the staff of the Bureau of Industry and Commerce said that the oil products involved in unqualified quality have been placed on file and submitted to the local AIC for investigation. Question 2 steam and diesel mixed operation

At the same time, some diesel flashpoints failed. After investigation, the staff concluded that the quality level of light diesel oil produced by some small oil refineries is not high, and some unscrupulous distributors have incorporated low-priced, volatile, and low-boiling low-quality oils in light diesel oil. There was also a situation where gasoline and diesel were mixed and transported. Tankers were not cleaned in accordance with the regulations, resulting in failure of diesel flashpoints.

In addition, the sulfur content of some oils exceeded the standard during the testing process. Provincial Industry and Commerce Bureau staff said that the sulfur content in gasoline and diesel is to assess the content of sulfur and its derivatives in fuel oil, and it is an indicator to control the engine from corrosion and prevent environmental pollution. Sulphur content in diesel is more prominent than gasoline. The main reason for the unsatisfactory sulphur content is that the gas station is mixed with low-quality oil when it enters the oil, or the manufacturer does not desulfurize or waste.

Question 4 using unleaded gasoline without added ethanol

Provincial Administration of Industry and Commerce staff also found that some of the tested units used unleaded gasoline without added ethanol. According to reports, currently used vehicle fuels are generally methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) oxygenated additives, which are toxic to groundwater resources and have been banned in many countries. The use of ethanol can completely replace MTBE and effectively prevent groundwater resources. damage. Question 5 Methanol acts as ethanol

During the testing process, some units added methanol as ethanol to reduce costs. Industry and Commerce Bureau staff said that methanol is low in price, light in components and highly corrosive. Internationally, there are also precedents for the addition of methanol to oil products. However, it is necessary to add anti-corrosion additives.
