China's textile equipment industry standards are seriously lagging behind

In view of the serious lag in the industry standards and metrological verification procedures for textile instrument products in China, the lack of industry evaluation basis for product quality. Liu Xinmin, deputy director of the Metrology and Inspection Department of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, attended the meeting and delivered an important speech on the national measurement situation and textile measurement tasks. A total of 40 representatives of textile equipment manufacturers and textile measuring stations attended the meeting.

In view of the fact that the industry standards for textile instrument products have been seriously lagging behind for a long time, the Instrument Professional Committee actively contacted the AQSIQ and the China National Textile and Apparel Council last year to reflect that the metrological verification procedures in the textile instrument industry lag behind, and the newly formulated measurement technology regulations The situation of no approval was reported, and it called for rationalizing the management order of the industry, attaching importance to the formulation of instrument measurement technical specifications, and changing the status quo of the inability of measurement and management of textile instruments as soon as possible. On this basis, the China Textile Industry Association has submitted a report on the establishment of the Textile Metrology Technical Committee to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and has been approved to lay a good foundation for the future organization of the textile industry measurement technical specifications.

Zhu Xianmin, vice chairman of the China Textile Machinery and Equipment Industry Association and director of the Textile Instruments Industry Committee, said at the meeting that the instrument professional committee will take the acceleration of the development of industrial standards for textile instrument products as its next focus. At present, on the basis of listening to the opinions of enterprises, the first batch of equipment that is planned to apply for the establishment of industry standards are: single yarn strength meter, twist yarn length meter and yarn twist meter. The industry standards for these three products were drafted by the Taicang Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Textile Electronic Instruments. They have now applied to the National Standardization Technical Committee for Textile Machinery and Accessories for approval. In the future, the instrument professional committee will also organize the formulation of industrial standards for textile instrument products in batches in accordance with market demand and enterprise proposals, and meet the industry development requirements as soon as possible.
