The review results of the 2013 Liaoning Province Science and Technology Awards were announced recently. The 3.0-MW wind turbine single-support spindle bearing project of the Wazhou Group won the second prize of provincial science and technology progress.
The successful development of single-support spindle bearings for 3.0MW wind turbine generators fills domestic gaps, breaks foreign monopoly, reduces the cost of domestic high-power wind turbines, and promotes the development of high-power wind turbines in China, as other wind turbine bearings. The research and development provided reliable experience. At present, ZWZ is engaged in technical cooperation with a number of domestic and foreign wind turbine manufacturers, and has developed 3.0 MW fan single-support spindle bearings and 6.0 MW fan single-support spindle bearings for a number of customers.
The user test proved that the tile shaft is a single-support spindle bearing matched with a 3.0 MW wind turbine, and its main performance indicators meet the requirements of use and reach the international advanced level of similar products.
