Phases are concentrated.” Ren Hongqiang said that people’s long-term concerns are mostly organic pollutant degradation mechanisms and the development of new industrial wastewater treatment technologies, and lack of reliable, economically viable industrial park wastewater treatment technologies.
Under this background, in response to common technical problems in the treatment of wastewater in the park, researchers began to study industrial wastewater treatment technologies and reactors during the “7th Five-Year Plan” period, and accumulated rich experience in the development of related technologies and equipment and engineering applications. experience. Since carrying out research on wastewater treatment technologies in industrial concentration areas in 1997, they have been researching and applying, and after more than ten years of joint technological research, they have made significant progress. “Today, this achievement has become one of the main technologies for industrial wastewater treatment in the park, and it has made important contributions to safeguarding the sustainable development of the chemical industry and achieving pollutant emission reduction targets,” Ren Hongqiang said happily.
However, at the beginning of the project, they faced difficulties in various aspects. At that time, China’s environmental laws and regulations were still in the process of perfection. The chemical parks lacked sufficient pressure and power to introduce advanced environmental protection technologies, and the management of the park was not yet standardized. Various high-toxicity and high-salt waste waters were mixed and discharged, and the wastewater was technically treated. Obstacles are set. In addition, the domestic water operations management system is relatively complex, which has made it more difficult to develop and popularize wastewater treatment technologies in the park.
“However, the biggest difficulty is the financial aspect. At the beginning of the project development, we were faced with a long-term shortage of funds. At the most intense time, there were only tens of thousands of funds in the account. Even the travel expenses of scientific researchers were difficult to guarantee.” Looking back, Ren Hongqiang Excitedly. Although the situation was difficult, the members of the task force did not waver. Instead, they continued to “hold the treasure”. They actively strived for other scientific research projects to expand their funding sources, and finally survived the difficult road and achieved major breakthroughs.
After more than ten years of continuous research and development, the project has so far applied for more than 40 patents for inventions, of which 18 have been authorized by the State Intellectual Property Office; developed five series of key equipment for industrialization, and were awarded national and provincial excellence. 5 demonstration projects. In addition, two key technologies were successively included in the 2007 and 2008 national catalogue of environmental protection technologies that are encouraged to develop. At present, the achievements of this invention have been in fine chemical parks, coal chemical production bases, pharmaceutical production bases, Chinese medicine industrial parks, printing and dyeing industrial parks, and mixed industrial parks in Jiangsu, Hebei, Anhui, Shanxi, Zhejiang, Shandong, and Liaoning provinces. The project has successfully applied the wastewater treatment project in high-polluted industrial parks, and the project effluent reached the discharge standard; the cumulative treatment of industrial wastewater reached 736,000 tons/day, and the total COD reduction was 1.269 million tons/day. The output value is about 1.125 billion yuan, and the new profit and tax amount is 208 million yuan.
