The FAR-15x8 series of radars fully meet the International Maritime Organization's Cat.2 radar (requires a radar with an effective diameter of 250 mm requiring a 19-inch display) and Cat.3 radar (a radar with an effective diameter of 180 mm requires a 15-inch display). The FAR-15x3 series of radars are international IMO radars that are not suitable for workboats and fishing boats. However, its performance and features will match the FAR-15x8 series of radars.
