Full Still Alarm Fire in Riverside, 2-22-14

At 5:15 PM on Saturday afternoon, the Riverside Fire Department responded to a working fire at an apartment building located at 2916 S. Harlem. When crews arrived, flames were visible coming out of the first-floor windows of a two-unit building. The fire was confined to one of the first-floor units and was quickly brought under control with no reported injuries.

Residents in the area were advised to keep windows closed and avoid the area until the situation was fully resolved. Firefighters worked efficiently to ensure the fire didn’t spread to neighboring units. It’s always reassuring to see the quick response and dedication of the local fire department in such situations.
